Up to Date?!

Well, life has been crazy busy. Last weekend Mom and I helped Celeste and Jason move to Penrose. This is a little town right by Tremonton, Utah. Oh, how I do love the country. I have felt rather trunky since going. I miss being down at Jacob Lake, driving through Fredonia and Kanab, going to Zion, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon, etc.

Other than that nothing else is too exciting. I did not have hip surgery because insurance companies are a pain in the hind end. Instead I bought a new car( one that I can actually get in and out of without hurting really bad). Since the picture won't copy from the website you will just have to look at it yourself.-- You can google the Kia Soul. Mom calls it "Blondie's Toaster." It is Java colored( metalic brown in real language). The interior is houndstooth.

Nothing else is really going on. Just keep on working and staying out of mischief.

Happy Easter!

Since I have slacked off for a while I thought I would get back with the program of keeping everyone informed.

Easter was a low key celebration at Great Granny and Great Grandpa's House. Kaylee and I hunted easter eggs both inside and out. The weather was semi perfect.

While we hunted eggs and entertained each other out and about everybody else sat and visited while Granny and Grandpa entertained Caleb (or vice versa). He pretty much slept the whole time, which is to be expected.

Nothing else super exciting has been happening here. I did start a new clinic at Lakeview Hospital so I now manage 2 clinics!! Great fun!

Oh How Cold It Can Be!

Well, I finally took a weekend off and spent some time in Island Park, Idaho. Heather and I went up to the coldness with a bunch of people that she works with. We went snowmobiling, snow shoeing, and I even attempted to learn how to play Guitar Hero/Rock Band and Raving Rabid Rabbits. It was a great experience filled with fun and adventure.....including me getting my snowmobile stuck on a tree and it took 4 men to pull it off. I didn't get injured though...that was a miracle.
This is the styling babe that I hide behind the daily appearance that everyone else gets to see.
We rode our snowmobiles over this river and saw so many beautiful sites on this adventure.
Here comes the speed demon. Can I tell you how great it feels to go speedy fast and feel the wind rushing against your face. It was almost as fun as riding a sea doo. However, riding the sea doo's are so much better because it is warm and when you crash the water is more forgiving than the snow.

Another day in paradise?!

I have to relate a funny experience to go along with the cold. This morning I went out to my car, in a rush mind you because I had overslept and was due to be in Bountiful in 30 minutes for a meeting with the CEO of Lakeview Hospital. I unlocked the passenger door with some trouble because it seemed rather frozen. However the key did turn and I opened the door and put my briefcase, yes I have one of those now, into the car. I pushed the door shut and it bounced right back open. So I pushed it again after making sure that nothing was in the way. It bounced back open again. I was in a panic. I had to get to Bountiful. So, being the genius that I am, I ran inside and asked Shar, my roommate what she recommended I do. I couldn't drive down the free way at 65 + mph and try to hold the door across the passenger seat, even though I have a small car, and be safe on our icy roads. ---- Thus the redneck talents that come to us every now and again come in handy---- I bungied corded my door shut from the inside handle to the rear view mirror because the bungee cord wasn't long enough to go around the passenger seat and every time I went around a curve turning towards the left I made sure to pull extra hard on the cord so that there was no slack. Needless to say I made it to Bountiful and was 5 minutes early for the meeting. Boy was I grateful when the sun came out and heated up my car. I went out around 11am to run to the store and undid the bungee cord. The locking mechanism had defrosted and I wasn't going to have to pay a boat load of money to have this fixed.

My new motto for this year is " You can't win if you don't play." I read this in a newspaper article and it struck home the reality of every situation in life cannot be accomplished without first attempting to make some kind of progress with it. I will keep you updated as I implement this in my life.

Starting off slowly.....

Well Happy New Year!!! I have been rather preoccupied with life and not with documentation/communication. Work was a little stress filled these past few days---trying to get reports wrapped up so that I can send them to the big wigs in the company.

The holidays went well. Natalie and I kept each other entertained. It has been snowing like there is no tomorrow over the past few weeks. Yesterday was beautiful but we are expecting more snow tonight. I personally would like to have a few days in the 70's (wishful thinking).

I got called to be a Relief Society Teacher. It is a good thing that our church is now at 11 am otherwise they might have been short a teacher on some Sundays. I generally have no trouble getting up in the morning but stress helps me sleep better/over sleep better.

------Random Items------
As a way to introduce this new year I wanted to write a list of favorites for bright spot to look towards.

Favorites:
Flower: Lily
Day of the Week: Sunday aka day of rest---which means I get a nap
Holiday: Thanksgiving-- it is close to my birthday
Color: Purple--- no suprises there
Song:
Place: Grand Canyon --- I always feel at peace there.
Vacation: ?? I haven't gone on too many that were truly restful. However visiting Arizona has to be up in the high rankings.
Season: Summer of course
Actress: Audrey Hepburn
Actor: Gary Cooper, Cary Grant, Matthew McConaHottie,

I will continue this listing as the year goes on and I think of things that really tickle my fancy.

Continue to resolve to do good and work to improve upon yourself. Remember our perfection is pending and thus why I am continually reminded that humanity is filled with frailty and will continue to struggle til we reach our true potential.

Happy Halloween!!

It was a joy filled day of spooks and ghouls. After work we went trick or treating in my neighborhood and then visited PaPa and Grammy. We trick or treated in the 7th ward as well because Kaylee wanted to see more houses.
