Well, I haven't written in a while as I have been missing my self confidence and being accepted to Grad School , Weber State University Masters of Health Administration program, has helped to bump me up again.
Life:
Not much has changed in the way of the day to day experience. Whiskey is my little rascal of a 1 year old Yellow Labrador. He is really cute and innocent when sleeping but can be every so creative too. He may only have 3 legs but he can get stuff off the table if he wants it bad enough and he keeps up with the big dogs just fine.
He is lonesome since Cola is gone and I miss her too. She would be glued to my side if I was cooking or if I was pushing myself too hard in the yard. She loved to cuddle and was very patient with all of us. She put up with Whiskey for sure!
It is still just Bruce and me at the house in West Point. We are working hard at our same jobs and keeping up with the house and yard.
I continue to sew when I can...but have been a work-a-holic over the last year. Whiskey thinks he is helping when lays on my material or tries to eat everything in my hand. This is him pouting because I was trying to cut material and not play with him. Hope they don't mind a little dog hair on the baby blanket.
Bruce continues his love of trucks and is buying and flipping them. He has started to do some leather work recently as a new hobby. We drove to Oregon last fall to see his Mom and Step-Dad and have a little vacation. Here is a picture of us as we were going to the Redwoods.
Last but not least...here is a thought. (saw this sign when we were eating at a taco place in Eden, UT)
