Can I tell you how much fun it is to be creative. Kaylee loves to play hopscotch, which usually consists of jumping around on her bed. However, one night she said, "Aunt Blondie lets play hopscotch." Since it was snowy outside and really cold I got it into my head to take some painters tape and make us a hopscotch grid.
Several times over the last couple weeks Kaylee Anne has called my cell phone and left a message saying...." Aunt Blondie.... Come Play..... I love you!.... Byeee."
Who can resist the invitation to go and play and forget the cares of life. Last night I went over and spent a little time with Kaylee. We went on a treasure hunt in the Trolls cave, aka Mom's storage room. We had to wear our crowns, bring a bag--Kaylees purse with one of her dollies in it, and sneak in really quiet so he would not know we were taking his treasures.
Another thing that is really entertaining is that Kaylee looks cuter in my hats that I do. She is wearing one of my hats in the picture.
One of my favorite places to eat is the Thaifoon at Gateway Mall in Salt Lake City. It has a mixture of all Oriental foods and it is Delicious. To celebrate Mom's birthday we took a little jaunt down there and ate great food. You would have been entertained as well had you been at the next table over or a random person walking by our table because how many times do you see four grown women singing The Wheels on the Bus in order to keep a certain someone entertained long enough for the food to reach the table.
On New Year's Day, Celeste, Jason, Kaylee, and I went to the South Towne Mall to do a little bargain hunting. The main purpose was to purchase Jason's wardrobe for his new job. Kaylee's biggest excitement for that day was getting to make several wishes in the wishing fountain.
Well, after great thought and consideration I have decided that I too must have a blog. How can I let the rest of the world pass me by and not join in the commotion.

Life--consistently working and taking more classes to eventually reach the end all of end all's.... that illusive nursing degree.
Home--currently Layton, Utah (Heather's House)
Family--well, since I am single my family is everyone else's families. I spend my free time playing with Kaylee Anne and wishing that Emma and Eli were close by so that I could play with them more often as well.
